Charlotte Lux, a researcher at Insight, was recently invited to speak as a guest lecturer at the University of Notre Dame, where she received her MFA degree. During her two-day visit, Charlotte presented an overview of user research and how various methods can be used to inform the design process. She also individually advised industrial and visual communication design students on strategies for incorporating user research into their undergrad and graduate thesis projects.
Charlotte had not been back to Notre Dame since the design program moved into a newer, larger building on campus, so it was also a great opportunity to experience the changes firsthand. “It was nice to see the growing program spread out into a space with more room and more modern facilities.”
