Briteseed; Ensuring Better Surgical Outcomes With SafeSnipsTM
Led by co-founders Jonathan W. Gunn, and Mayank Vijayvergia, Briteseed has developed SafeSnipsTM, a revolutionary blood vessel detection technology for use in minimally invasive procedures. By detecting the presence of vessels in real-time, surgeons can identify and avoid inadvertently cutting blood vessels.
Recently, the Chicago Innovation Awards selected Briteseed as one of Chicago's top 10 up and coming companies. This month, the University Research and Entrepreneurship Symposium chose Briteseed's SafeSnipsTM as one of 30 breakthrough technologies from across the nation.
