Serial entrepreneur Gary Conkright and his co-founder Matt Pipke, both draw from their significant technology, software and legal backgrounds to drive phys IQ's dream to a tangible reality. Utilizing a cloud-based analytics platform to engage with a proprietary predictive analytics technology VitaLink^® identifies and trends significant medical events. VitaLink^® enables clinicians to provide a proactive treatment plan driving better healthcare outcomes at much lower costs than reactive care.

Working closely together, Insight and phys IQ developed a set of body worn sensors that collects patient vital signs. This realtime data collection and management is crucial to the success of the VitaLink^® system.

The VitaLink^® remote patient monitoring solution was developed under a contract with the Veterans Administration and is currently the subject of two IRB approved clinical studies. phys IQ has recently completed a series A round of investment for more than $6M and most recently has been selected to present at TEDMed 2014.
