MATTER Workshop lead by Insight PDHigh-impact product design starts with a deep understanding of the needs of end-users and customers. This workshop will help you understand end-users’ needs and the extent to which your offering effectively addresses them. Carolyn Rose, Sean Corrigan, and Ed Geiselhart of Insight Product Development will help translate such needs into actionable product requirements. They will share tools and techniques startups can leverage to better organize and translate stakeholder feedback into early product requirements that they can then use to design their products. Participants will be exposed to real-world examples of this dynamic process and have the opportunity to generate product requirements from their own collected data, with the help of the Insight PD team.

Participants Get to “Be the Innovator!” at Insight for an Evening

Chicago Ideas Week 2015Working side-by-side with one of the most experienced innovation teams in the world – Chicago Ideas Week Insight Lab ticket holders were invited to create an on-the-spot solution to a real world problem at Insight headquarters on October 14th. The sold-out crowd of nearly 70 had the opportunity to move throughout Insight’s 38,000 square foot facility with company researchers, strategists, industrial designers, model makers, and engineers and experience the end-to-end innovation process from initial idea to final realization.

first postComplete with a facility tour, the Lab gave participants an intimate look at storyboards, design iterations, model-making, and 3D printing prototyping to a market-ready product, and the opportunity to solve a real world problem through team brainstorming – and defining what a solution should do and what form it should take. Following their evening innovation experience, Insight pros raised a glass to toast all of our Ideas Week Lab-goers on the Insight roof with complementary cocktails.

Sunrise sponsored Golf TourneySunrise Labs of Auburn, New Hampshire hosted a charity golf tournament today to directly benefit Joslin Diabetes Center on the heels of the Center’s announcement to join forces with Google and Sanofi to develop new tools to manage and treat diabetes. Joslin is an independent, nonprofit institution, academically affiliated with Harvard Medical School, and is recognized worldwide for driving innovative solutions in diabetes prevention, research, education, and care.
